Career Coaching & the Highlands Ability Battery in Northern Virginia

Career coaching and the Highlands Ability Battery for Northern Virginia families — Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria.

Why we work in Northern Virginia

Northern Virginia families have access to plenty of career coaches and college consultants. The differentiator here is the Highlands itself — an ability-based assessment, not a personality test — combined with our pedigree in independent-school work.

How engagements work here

NOVA clients typically come to us through Episcopal High School, Foxcroft School, and other Virginia boarding-school networks. We schedule in-person work at a Loudoun co-working space or in DC. Most adult engagements run virtually.

Frequently asked, locally

Do I have to come to Northern Virginia in person?

No. The Highlands Ability Battery is taken online, and the two-hour debrief can happen in person, over video, or split (e.g., debrief in person, follow-up over video). Most clients choose at least one in-person session because the conversation is materially better face-to-face.

Where do you meet in Northern Virginia?

We use a small set of professional spaces — typically a downtown office or a quiet co-working spot. Specific location is confirmed when you book.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. The Highlands assessment is straightforward at $495. The eight-session coaching program is offered in two installments. We’ll walk through it on the initial call.
